Sephiroth would utterly stomp Lobo with his powers, or simply turn him into stone.

Lobo FTL

Haha, it's funny you think that. Because it wouldn't work. You clearly know jack shit about the Main Man.

Sephiroth may be powerful, however he has one weakness: he is still mortal. Lobo is immortal as neither Heaven nor Hell want him. Not to mention he's so overpowered it's not even funny. Mutilating Gods with his bare hands, ripping inter-dimensional portals with his fists while he was old and fat, the ability to clone himself from his own blood and being able to regenerate from a hair, LIFTING AN OBJECT WITH THE WEIGHT OF THE UNIVERSE.

Not to mention the dude is smart. He could just make a virus that would be made to kill Seph, he did, after all, wipe out his whole planet with an insect he made when he was ...18 I think? Not sure.

Anyway, Lobo is just so much more pwnage it's not even funny.

Pick your battles wisely, my friend.

Sephiroth is immortal now as well (at least to the things he's encountered) but I'm still inclined to go with Lobo with that "ripping gods with his bare hands" part (otherwise I would think it's a tie, two immortals and all)...if you can get a picture of that I'd probably go for Lobo...(plus I personally want to see that lol, sick minded little child I am)

Yeah but still even Gods have a lot more power than that...it just looks like he makes them mortal for some reason...(or he just has something with his spirit where he can kick the asses of gods instead of them just killing him like omnipotent beings would do, but whatever that's just stupid thing to discuss)

yeah, but usually normal gods are not omnipotent, just really strong. However, Sephie has only gotten close to god status... so this is really just pretty one-sided.

Yeah Sephiroth is probably roughly on the same level as that council of Gods on that other page...but like I said, if he has some sort of ability where he can make any "god" or godlike figure mortal like that (cos logically there's gotta be SOMETHING that lets him kill gods) then Sephiroth is little challenge.
Of course, if it's only with one confrontation, there are a lot of other niches that could be used, like if Sephiroth "killed" Lobo and then Lobo came back if that would count as a win or if it's spanned over a longer period of time blah blah blah...

Yeah, but even if it was just to a KO, Lobo can punch pretty hard. Here's an example of his strength:

Yeah but who's really to say how strong the real Sephiroth is either? (cos we don't know)

Who knows what he can do really...but either way, with Lobo's other powers and god-kicking abilities I think he'd win...

No more like

Seph cuts Lobo into pieces

Seph then has an army of Lobos to fight

Lobo(s) pwnulate Seph with bare hands and send him into another dimension.

Lobo finds some alien chicks and sexes them up and gets drunk.

Lobo wins

Yeah, it would work, and it's funny you think Lobo stands a chance at all against Sephiroth. You clearly don't know jack shit about one of SE's most powerful villain.

It's been revealed that he was not, for your information.

Atresac wrote:

And...what makes you think this is a fight determining who can send the other to Heaven or Hell?

Doesn't help him against Sephiroth. Unfortunately for Lobo, he can't even fly, and Sephiroth could simply cast Doom on him and render him motionless within a few seconds, or petrify him and turn him to stone. He has no way of getting around that.
Atresac wrote:

Wouldn't make a difference whatsoever.

Atresac wrote:

Yeah a virus would kill Sephiroth. Sephiroth was using a disease, Geostigma, to take control over an entire planet. He can infect Lobo with Jenova cells and use the disease to corrupt Lobo's mind, or his body. From that point, Lobo would just be Sephiroth's puppet. Let's see him stand a chance of winning then.

In your head I would assume.

Atresac wrote:

I did. It's obvious Lobo has nothing on Sephiroth.

I think even Trogdor might not be able to do it...or it'd end up in a tie with Lobo constantly coming back again and again and again and again and *trails off with repeditve shit*

Maybe...but then again...Trogdor does have the huge advantage of being Trogdor...

ok, that post was all fucked up but I'll take a crack at it:

It's not a fight to see who can send who to heaven or hell, I was simply stating Lobo can not be killed.

Lobo can't fly, yes. But does he need to? He didn't need it to own Gods. He didn't need it to own the Martian Manhunter. He didn't need it to own Captain Marvel. He didn't need to do any of the feats he has done. He has his motorcycle which is fast enough. And if Seph turned Lobo to stone... he would just like, come back to life.

And Lobo would probably not use a virus. Just the insect that he used to kill his planet. And Seph wouldn't even know it was in him. He would soon be paralyzed and covered in black blisters. His blood would be poisoned but the paralysis would not numb the pain at all. He would be left to die in his messy death for days, while Lobo would sex up some girl.

If Lobo can rip gods apart with little effort, Seph would be a sinch.

Seriously, he can sniff out Seph's weak spots and exploit them. Or he would just KO him with one punch.
