Duriel fired two rounds from his Morita MKII rifle. He slung it over his shoulder and crept around the corner. Reladrier stood and slammed his knife into the base of the neck of the soldier in front of him. The body dropped, and Duriel moved on. Something exploded next to him, and he flew through the air, landed in a ditch. He looked up, and instead of a red, darkened, smoky sky, it was a light blue one. He jumped out of the hole, and fired a round at the first thing he saw, it was a person....

Tyreaus

Travis stood by the hole, pausing to take in the scenery of the new landscape he had found himself in, and to gather where he found himself at. When a figure shot from the hole and pointed a gun, he quickly reacted and deflected the round with his sword. After a short pause, he inquired.
"Why are you shooting at me?"

Duriel

"Whats your IFF?", Duriel said, as a huge creature flew over his head. He spun shot it, knocked it out of the air. Octavian walked over to the beast, and killed it. Duriel saw what it had been after. It was girl. With a broken leg. Reladrier walked over and charged up an energy shot. He pointed at her head, as she turned to face him. She started to speak, but Duriel had let go, and left her body smoldering.
"Like I said, IFF?"

Tyreaus

Travis tried keep his eyes wayward from the creature to keep from causing unrest to his stomach, but still managed a glance at the creature to find what it was, or had been. He shook out his head at the sight of it.
"IFF?"

Duriel

"Friend or Foe?"

OOC = Out of Context, this does not count as part of the story. Though it does concern it.
OOC: you do know that I killed a girl too, right?

Tyreaus

"Alrighty then. What is this place?"

Tyreaus

Duriel

"How did you get here? Last thing I remember, I was thrown into a ditch by an explosion. This is a welcome change of pace.. Too bad I had to kill that girl though. I couldn't heal the wounds so meh. But yeah, how'd you get here?"

Tyreaus

"I was going from Vancouver to Port Coquitlum for an errand. Instead of appearing at Port Coquitlum I ended up here. You're basically the first life I've seen, just got here."

"I am on earth, right?"

Duriel

"Oh, cool I suppose."

Duriel

Duriel shrugged, and said, "I dunno. I wasn't on Earth before I got here. I was on Ruhelen."

Tyreaus

"well now, that makes everything crystal clear, well I don't expect my father to be very pleased when..."
A cracking noise comes up from behind Travis from a dark cave-like structure. He spins around, drawing his sword and pointing the blade at the cave opening.

Duriel

Duriel tossed a flare in to the cave opening. "I don't think he'll mind. My watch is going excessively slow. DId you know your father well?"

Tyreaus

Travis peers into the lit cave opening; noticing that nothing is there, he turns back around and sheaths the blade.
"Know him well, that I do, hopefully still will if I can find my way back."

Duriel

"I don't remember my father well. Last time I saw him was when I was six. Whats your name man?"

A long shadow appears from the enterance stretching towards you, then slowly moves towards you. "What are you two doing in here?"

"My name in full, is Octavian Duriel Reladrier." Duriel turned to the thing in the entrance. "Hello..."

Travis holds out his hand in a respectful handshake.
"It's nice to meet you Mr. Reladrier."
He turns to the new figure.
"So do you know anything about this place, or are you just as dumbfounded as we are?"

"I might know something, what's it worth to you?"

Duriel

Duriel shook Travis' hand, "Likewise." Duriel turned his attention to the big beast in the cave entrance.

Duriel aimed his rifle at the new guy. "Really, thats too bad cus I don't carry any with me unless I intend on spending it."

Travis turns both his pockets out revealing dustballs and fuzz.
"Unfortunatly I'm broke, I suppose I can manage without some answers."
He looks up at the staredown between the two characters.
"Is it really necessary to resolve to such violence for simple questions?"

"Violence is always it's own reward" He licks dry red lips.

"I might have some change..." A voice in the back of Duriel's head screamed at him, "Kill him! kill him now!" Duriel ignored the notion and produced a few nickels from a slot in his armor. "Uh, this is all I got."

a harsh whisper comes from behind a rock. "this is Atrum Vox, do you copy"... "where are you?" .... "damn it, there must have been a screw up.... their probably already dead..." a figure stands up from behind a rock, holding his lift hand to his ear, and pulls off a small metal device, smashes it, and throws it on the ground. Atrum Vox then looked around, inspecting the scenery, and saw 2 figures looking into a cave. he walked up to them, and asked "where is this? why am i here?"

Duriel looked at the new fellow. "Welcome to the club."

Atrum walked calmly over to where they were standing and looked into the cave. "what do you mean? this happened to you also?"

Duriel

"Yeah, I'm sure 35 cents is gonna get you a great deal of nifty stuff."

"My name?" Thinks for a second, "just call me the minstral."

Tyreaus

Duriel

"Perfect timing if you ask me. Better here than where i was before."

"Better than nothing, sides, now i'm the richest man in this cave" Laughs to himself.

"How about we go out and look around instead of sitting here talking like male knitting circle."

"your telling me it was bad timing... i was just about to finish with a high paying mission, and right before i was able to launch my plan, as soon as i teleported into position, in fact, i suddenly lost all communication. theres a payment down the drain..." he sighed...

"It seems I was the only one who was just picking up a package for my girlfriend...everyone else was on this bounty mission or that..."
He mumbles to himself.

Duriel

"I was in the middle of a battle... I have no time or energy to expend on women. Besides, you're young. Enjoy it."

atrum look at where travis had vanished from, then at the tower. "so... to the tower?"

Duriel

Duriel followed Tyreaus.

"Yeah I suppose so..." Darkness wraps around me and I vanish.

Tyreaus

atrum sinks into the ground and there is no trace of him.

Duriel

Duriel climbed the tower, and threw the beings at the top over the side.

Chuckles as the darkness around me drops down, "Hey travis, your back, I desided to do a little investigating myself, propelled my third eye over there, basic stuff."

atrum comes up on the top of the tower and looks around. "wow, nice view..."

Duriel

Duriel appeared holding a half-dead guy. Duriel dropped him. "He might know something."

"Wonderful" Sits down in a meditative pose, "deal with the tower, whatever, come back when either most of you are dead or your done with it."

light blue stings appear, tying up the half dead man.

Duriel vanished for a second, and when he reappeared, the tower collapsed. "So much for that.."

i teleport off the tower and onto the ground, and teleport back to the minstrel. "well, that was useless... looks like the begger had the right idea..."

"You should've said something if you disapprove of my actions."

"Thanks a lot buddy, the beggar ha... You have no idea..." My eyes go in and out of focus but you can see i'm staring straight at you.

My stomach growls louder.
"errr...anybody got a nuitri-grain?"

I laugh to myself, "And why should I bother?"

Duriel

Another slot in Duriel's suit opened up. "I got one MRE. You can have it." He tossed it to Tyreaus.
"Now, who is the 'beggar'?"

i sneer a little at the minstrel, and look over at travis. "get over it. you can try to find something if you want... and duriel, the begger is the one who begs... the minstrel, i think he called himself."

"What year is it, where you guys are from?"

"I'm from a year, at a place, stuff happens there." Snears at Duriel. "What concern is it of yours?"

"i really don't know when it is... i don't pay attention. as for where i'm from, i really don't think you need to know that..."

"Oh you ment the slave, my bad. I'm used to being interrogated, and those are my automatic answers."

Duriel

"I was simply wondering. Is there a problem with that? I'm from 2792. I'll bet you other guys are from drastically time periods."

"Yeah, means your prying, I don't like when people pry, most who pry to live long enough to get good use out of what they find."

Tyreaus

"Speaking of prying, I think our other 'guest' is awake."
I look to the figure that was tied up which is now awake.

Shadows wrap around me and my image slowly blurs until I am rendered invisible.

"hmm... the time thing may be troublesome. i just figured when i needed to i could just warp back... that means we should find some answers." i walk over to the man and step on his chest, then grind it into the ground, as if it were out of boredom.

Duriel

Duriel dropped the Morita, and picked up his much larger, weapon. He pointed it at the woods, and fired. The forest was completely vaporized, dirt turned to glass, the ground left smoldering,and heat waves distorted the areas beyond. Duriel walked into the area that was previously a forest. "I'll find my own information then."

i look over at duriel, foot still on the man. "he knows we are here... not much of my concern though. he still knows nothing about me. either way, we should move as soon as we can..."

"I agree... brother. It's time to go." I stand up.

i grab the man and throw him over my shoulder, then start walking in the opposite direction as duriel.

I stand there as everyone else walks off.
"Joy..."

i look back at travis. "i advise you come with us. but, it is your choice."

"Just don't get in our way" Darkness wraps around Travis and levetates him to us.

Duriel continiued on his way until he reached a village.
His armor changed form, as in it was still there, it just looks different. He now appeared to be a regular guy, in his early 20s, wearing a black tee shirt and jeans. His gun was still visible however. He walked into the village, where he was met by flaming arrows, and spears. He dodged the arrows, stole spears, and when he fought back there weren't many people left alive besides himself.
He dropped the primitive weapons, dumped a huge (3ft x 3ft) blue explosive in the center of the freakishly violent, yet average looking place, and walked off. He turned his armors magnetic shield to full power. And he detonated the explosive. A titanic mushroom could lit up the sky, sending a very large ring in all directions. Everything inside a 36 mile radius of the bomb was vaporized, save Duriel, and a few other people...
Duriel looked up, and grinned, admiring his handiwork. He also noticed the light was supercharging his suit.
