i'm a little surprised you actually asked me that, seeing as you probably see me as some what of a fan boy. cant be helped, were on opposite sides of the console war.
BUT, trying to stay as unbiased as possible, i would say it was worth my one and a half hour wait. i can say it was pretty hard to get used to, but i sort of expected that. its a totally new control system. i played excite truck, and i only used 2 buttons- the d-pad and the "2" button. it was very hard for me, but i believe thats due to 1) i suck at racing games, and 2) it was an unfamiliar control style that i had to get used to. i'm expecting a huge learning curve that i will have to face, but i think its going to be good after that. i feel like i did after the controller was first announced- even though i have gotten this new information, i still have no idea if its going to be good or not.

you should check it out. if you like it, it would give you reason to watch the wii to see if some games you like start coming out on it, and if you dot like it, you can go over to moviecodec and call ramunematt something along the lines of "a lying jackass who is a little fucker and only makes up shit about the wii." but, one thing i ask, come in with an open mind. don't be trying to prove that it sucks as you play it, if you do play it.

| no like ejects them out of the console in a flinging, shooting manner. like the disk goes flying out of the console. my friend wanted to get a Wii for the sole purpose of the "shooting disks" lol |

I dont know if it does anymore but way back when they called it the Revolution i saw it shoot out disks.

It doesn't shoot out disks. Me and kev have a wii. It's actually a very nice piece of equiptment, very fun to play. I would recomend it to all of you.

im sticking with PS3 and Xbox 360 until Metroid Prime 3 comes out. |

| me neither... all I have is a 360 and im most likely getting a Wii because the PS3 is too expensive but I certainly like the PS3 alot better than the Wii. |

I wish they had a version that didnt have a bluray drive because i dont even have a high def tv so the blueray drive wont make any difference as far as graphically so im not wasting $600 on a system that is meant for hi def tv's when i have an Xbox 360 that puts out exellent graphics on standard and high def tv's at $200 dollars cheaper.
Plus Halo 3 is Xbox 360 exclusive so im satisfied until i get a high def tv. |
